Managing Partner
As the Partner-In-Charge, Dan oversees the strategic direction of the company and brings a passion towards servicing clients. Prior to forming OYLLP, Dan spent more than thirty years working at both large local and top 20 national firms providing comprehensive tax planning, tax compliance and transactional consulting services. At both his current and prior accounting firms, Dan has served as a vital technical resource on partnership taxation matters with a focus on real estate.
Experience:
- Expertise with complex partnership taxation issues, including income and debt allocations, waterfall calculations, carried interest considerations, structuring and transactional analysis.
- Particular emphasis in tax strategies concerning partnerships/LLCs, S corporations, estate planning, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, debt cancellation and reorganization planning.
- Involved with structuring blocker corps for foreign investments in US real estate.
- Closely worked with clients in a wide range of sophisticated transactions, including planning for real property dispositions and acquisitions, debt restructurings, partnership formations and dissolutions.

Georgia is a tax partner bringing more than 12 years of experience in public accounting. She was a tax director of a top 20 accounting firm. She provides tax compliance and consulting experience for partnerships, closely held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. Georgia uses her technical, organization and project management skills to enhance the client experience. With her bilingual skill, Georgia serves many mandarin- speaking clients for their tax, accounting and consulting needs.
